Principal Advisor at The eCEOs Sdn. Bhd. and Alypz Sdn. Bhd., and Board Member of the Malaysian Atomic Energy Licensing Board. He brings over 30 years of experience in the nuclear industry, covering nuclear security and safety, management of radioactive waste and spent fuel, nuclear liability, and non‑proliferation at both national and international levels. Former Director General of Malaysia’s Atomic Energy Licensing Board, he also served at the IAEA in Vienna as Director for Nuclear Security and as Special Assistant to the Director General. Passionate about sharing knowledge and perspectives on nuclear regulation, international cooperation, and peaceful nuclear technology, he continues to contribute to advancing safe and responsible nuclear practices. He holds a B.Sc. in Medical Sciences (University of Bradford, 1979), an M.Sc. in Radiation Biophysics (University of St Andrews, 1986), and an honorary Ph.D. in Nuclear Sciences (UKM, 2021).
