Gertrude Audrey is an Engineer in the Water Resource Unit (Hydrology) under the Hydro Department at Sarawak Energy. With an academic background in Civil Engineering, her current role focuses on data analysis, hydrological modelling, and river studies for the development of potential hydropower. Her work spans from conducting fieldwork and managing remote hydrometric stations to leveraging advanced modelling tools for hydrological analysis. These efforts ensure reliable planning for hydropower development while contributing to renewable energy security and climate resilience in the region. Through her work, Gertrude hopes to inspire young people to discover meaningful careers in science, engineering, and renewable energy, where technology and nature work hand in hand.
