Inês leads the Green Hydrogen Organisation’s efforts to scale up green hydrogen investments in emerging and developing economies and oversees the organisation’s programmes in Africa, Asia (China and India) and Latin America. She leads different projects focussed on policies, legislation and permitting practices to help enable the transition to a green hydrogen economy.
Previous to her role at GH2, Inês was the Policy Director at the Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative, a global standard for transparency and accountability of oil, gas and minerals implemented by 57 countries. She has previously worked in different UN institutions and non-governmental organisations such Amnesty International.
Inês was born and spent her early life in Tokyo, Japan.
