Arthur Simatupang is a leading figure in Indonesia’s energy and infrastructure sector, with over 20 years of experience spanning conventional and renewable energy. He is the Director of Mahardika Energy Partners, a strategic advisory firm driving innovation and sustainability in the power industry.
Arthur has held senior executive and board roles in major companies including PT Toba Bara Energi, PT Indomining, PT Energi Baru TBS, PT Paiton Energy and PT Adimitra Baratama Nusantara. As a founding director of PT TBS Energi Utama Tbk, he helped launch projects from coal-fired plants to mini hydro, biomass and floating solar PV. He currently serves as Chairman of the Honorary Council of the Indonesian Independent Power Producer Association (APLSI), guiding policy advocacy for 15.5GW of installed capacity. Arthur holds a BBA from Seattle University and an MCom in Accounting and Finance from the University of Sydney.
