Edey Suresh is an enterprise sustainability strategist, leader and seasoned practitioner. Edey serves as a Board Director at Large for the UN Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei (UNGCMYB), the official local network of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). Edey has advised organisations from various sectors on embedding sustainability into core business functions. Additionally, he was also the Founding Chairperson of Johor Collective Media (JOCOM) and is the current Chairperson of the Social Hero Foundation, an umbrella organisation uniting over 110 NGOs and NGIs to drive impactful environmental and social initiatives.
His contributions to major sustainability initiatives, including the UNFCCC Asia-Pacific Climate Week (APCW) 2023, underscore his role in shaping the sustainability agenda at both national and international levels. He received his early education in English College, Johor Bahru and he holds an executive certificate in Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard Business School as well as a Masters in Business Administration (MBA).
