The Honourable Datuk Haji Len Talif Salleh

Deputy Minister for Urban Planning, Land Administration and Environment Sarawak

The Honourable Datuk Haji Len Talif Salleh is the Deputy Minister for Urban Planning, Land Administration and Environment, Sarawak. He has held senior roles in government, including Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Planning and Resource Management and Director of Forests, Chief Executive Officer of Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC), and was formerly the General Manager of the Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (STIDC), overseeing diverse sectors from hospitality and aviation to education and logistics.

Internationally, he has engaged with the International Tropical Timber Organisation (ITTO), Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO), Timber Trade Federation (TTF), Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Swedish International Development Corporation Agency (SIDA) and the European Union (EU) on sustainability and development initiatives. As Chairman of Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Sarawak (TEGAS), an NGO, Datuk Len Talif drives the state’s digital economy agenda through the TEGAS Digital Village and Innovation Hub, accelerating innovation, entrepreneurship and start-up growth in line with Sarawak’s Post COVID-19 Development Strategy 2030 and Sarawak Digital Economy Blue Print 2025-2030.
