Yanuar Fajari is Head of the Energy and Mineral Division at the ASEAN Secretariat, where he leads regional cooperation on energy transition, power integration, and sustainable mineral development. Prior to joining the ASEAN Secretariat, he served with the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in the Southeast Asia Energy Transition Partnership, managing technical assistance programmes and high-level stakeholder engagement. He has also held senior positions at Indonesia’s Ministry of Investment. His expertise covers energy policy, investment facilitation, and strategic partnerships to accelerate decarbonisation in Southeast Asia.
