Dr. Dindo Campilan leads IUCN’s operations in Asia and Oceania, serving 48 statutory countries in the region through science-based knowledge, tools and solutions for the conservation and sustainable use of natural resources.
Before joining IUCN, he held senior leadership positions with several international development and research organisations, including within CGIAR and the United Nations, where he managed regional technical cooperation programmes focused on climate-resilient agriculture and food systems, inclusive business and market development and sustainable landscapes and ecosystems. He holds a PhD in Agriculture and Environmental Sciences from Wageningen University, The Netherlands.
