Celebrating Achievements in Sustainability Excellence
Sarawak Energy’s flagship event, SAREF, has gained industry recognition for championing sustainability and fostering partnerships that drive the renewable energy transition, aligning with Sarawak’s vision of becoming a Regional Powerhouse and the Battery of ASEAN.
On 29 November 2024, Sarawak Energy received the Gold award at the Malaysia PR Awards (MPRA) 2024 under the ‘Sustainability Award’ category for our Sustainability and Renewable Energy Forum (SAREF) 3.0, surpassing GRAB (Silver) and CIMB (Bronze) in the same category.
The award acknowledges the impact and effectiveness of the decade-long thought leadership campaign in advancing the regional discourse on energy transition and renewable energy in Southeast Asia.
The Sustainability Award category also recognises SAREF’s role in strengthening partnerships among countries, industries, organisations and individuals by shaping compelling narratives that enhance awareness and garner support for shared goals.
Organised by the Public Relations & Communications Association (PRCA) Malaysia, the MPRA celebrates excellence in public relations, recognising campaigns that drive meaningful impact within the industry and beyond.
