Edwin Nugraha Putra obtained a Master’s Degree in Information Technology from Abertay University Dundee – Scotland, United Kingdom. He has served in various strategic positions during his career in PLN in the transmission, distribution and generation stream business, both in the holding and subholding, for more than 30 years. He particularly spent the last decade strengthening national electricity security with his excellent expertise and experience combined in power system operation, system planning, information technology and automation systems to manage the largest power generation subholding as President Director of PT PLN Indonesia Power (2022–2025), prioritising sustainability as one of the pivots of business strategy. He led PT PLN Indonesia Power to achieve 19 Gold PROPERs, the highest acknowledgement of environmental management from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia, as well as the Green Leadership Madya Award at the PROPER in 2024. He is now Director of Transmission and System Planning of PT PLN (Persero), with the next challenge to accomplish the national electricity transformation, especially in energy transition, strengthening national transmission security and reliability and also delivering the greener RUPTL.
